60 different beverages on the menu, Familiar Grounds not only
caters to coffee aficionados, but to smoothie drinkers and
non-coffee lovers as well. Fresh bakery including pies, scones,
biscotti and seasonal desserts are served daily.
Six soup selections are
available anytime. Coupled with a delicious hard roll, soup
makes for a great light lunch or early dinner. Of course iced
coffee could be what you’re craving now, and Italian sodas and
tea blasts are great summer satisfiers. Choose from frappes,
iced lattes, chai tea, seven flavors of smoothies (made with
your choice of yogurt or ice cream), and fresh squeezed
lemonade. True coffee

enjoy a large selection of espresso and gourmet coffees.
With all the shopping and yummy
treats available, there is also a slower side to the coffee
shop. Walk back to the outside terrace or inside seating areas,
both situated on the Embarrass River, and sip your beverage

Consider a private, intimate
meeting room that can accommodate
up to 20 people.

you’re on the go, that’s not a problem either. Call ahead with
your order and it will be waiting when you arrive to pick it up.

Situated near the corner of W. North Water St. and Pearl Street
in New London, the coffee house is easy to get to and provides a
